Now with direct flights from the UK to the North East of Spain, the City of Saragossa is one of the most important cities of the Ebro Valley in the region of Aragon.

In the middle ages the City of Aragon was the capital city of the Kingdom of Aragon; it was here at the Cathedral of La Seo that the ancient Kings were crowned at the start of their reign.

Steeped in History and Art the City of Saragossa has a brilliant historic past of art and architecture from Roman times, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque to the Neo-Classical the city has them all.

Also you have the ancient Seminaro De San Carlos with its beautiful Baroque Altarpiece.

The most outstanding religious monuments in the City of Saragossa is the Basilica of the Pillar "El Pilar" where the image of the Virgin Mary is venerated also within the Basilica itself you have Cupolas painted by Goya.

Strolling in Saragossa is a tradition which is a natural activity which can be done every day and the City seems to be designed to invite you to stroll. Strolling and shopping go hand in hand where you can easily succumb to the temptations on offers in the shops.
