Dovetail Enterprises has launched a new range of contemporary furniture especially designed for hotels and guest houses.

Established in 1865 in Dundee, Dovetail is a social enterprise employing local people with visual impairment and other disabilities. Employees are trained to a high level of craftsmanship in order to produce made-to-measure furniture.

In a new venture for the company, Dovetail has been working with award-winning interior designer, Ashbank Design Studios, to put together Mezzo, a comprehensive, contemporary furniture package ideal for the refurbishment of hotel bedrooms.

An optional professional design service is also offered for hotel owners who want a fully co-ordinated approach to their room refurbishment. They will receive advice on colours, fabrics, wallcoverings, lighting and more to create an individually tailored room scheme.

Gavin Strachan, Managing Director of Dovetail Enterprises, said, "Dovetail has always manufactured high quality furniture for a wide variety of customers, including some of Scotland's top hotels. The Mezzo range has been designed specifically for smaller hotels and guest houses to make it easy for them to update their bedrooms with a made-to-measure package of co-ordinating furniture."

Katie Buchanan from Ashbank Design Studios added, "The Mezzo range is contemporary and stylish as well as practical and easy to maintain. Its clean lines work well with up-to-date colour schemes to give any hotel room a fresh new look."
