Dundee Media CentreDundee is not immune to the credit crunch as many would have you believe, as a direct result we are currently enlisting the help of volunteers to produce cutting edge content for our brand new streaming media centre.

Our media centre has been though the planning stages and is set to "broadcast" content early in the new year, we are looking for anyone with a video camera who can help by filming news items, reports on local issues, cooking demonstrations or anything else you feel would interest readers of the publication.

To help illustrate the new service we have include the Christmas appeal by Kate and Gerry McCann for Madeleine's safe return, an older piece of video footage video by my friend Stefan Pocula and our opening titles for our streaming video news.

You can submit content in any format and we will convert it to be compatible with our state of the art video player, as a volunteer you will have the opportunity to gain new skills, meet new people, feel needed and appreciated and hopefully get your hard work noticed by the wider public.

The willingness to have a go is a lot more important than technical skills or experience, and any rewards will be as unique and personal as your reasons for joining our team, we do have a number of projects in the pipeline which you are more than welcome to become involved in.

We are always looking for writers to add unique content to the publication, we can assign authors adsense code and let you keep any revenue the advertisements generate, this could even become a viable business opportunity for some people.

We are also open to any idea's which will bring revenue from streaming media and will gladly share any profit from the venture, for further information click here
