Stewart Hosie today welcomed two strong endorsements for his bid to become Depute Leader of the SNP.
Founding members of both Business for Scotland and Labour for Independence have today endorsed Stewart’s bid.
Tony Banks, Head of the Balhousie Care Group said,
“I was delighted to work with Stewart during the referendum campaign. I am pleased that he understands the need to keep the wider Yes movement alive and campaigning for Scotland. I am delighted to support his campaign to become Depute leader of the SNP.”
Allan Grogan, Founder member of Labour for Independence said:
“Throughout the referendum campaign Stewart worked tirelessly and with great enthusiasm with not only the SNP but myself and members of other political parties and none. Although I am not a part of the SNP I wholeheartedly endorse Stewart Hosie in his campaign for SNP Deputy Leader. I am confident that he will continue to represent Scotland and work with others throughout the political spectrum for the best interests of the people. “
Stewart Hosie commented,
“I am delighted to receive the endorsement of Tony and Allan.
“One of the great things about the Yes campaign was the way in which people from across the political spectrum came together to campaign for Scotland.
“It will be vital that we can keep that campaigning energy alive through the 2015 General Election and beyond and I am very pleased that two able campaigners for Scottish Independence have backed my bid for SNP Depute leader in this way.”
