VOLUNTEERS have taken to the street of Dundee in recent days to tackle graffiti and litter on some of the city's hundreds of miles of paths.
Working under the Dundee Travel Active banner five people gave their time for free to maintain a section of path between Greenmarket and Roseangle, and in one night cleaned two benches, 15 lamp posts and filled four bags with litter.
As well as cleaning graffiti and litter picking, volunteers reported on-road problems to Dundee City Council's rapid response team.
The next planned clean up will take place in September/October and is likely to be in the Hilltown area.
