 (ARA) – Whether you’re looking
for a way to make money on the side or a new career altogether, there is a
future for you in Internet marketing.
“It seems almost every company has an Internet presence these days, and with so
much competition, they need help bringing customers to their Web sites,” says
Jason Raphael, 27, of Princeton, N.J. He has been working in the field of
Internet marketing since he was a teenager and has seen it grow by leaps and
bounds.
“One of my first jobs was to hand out flyers that directed
people to a new online shopping site. I got paid 50 cents for each lead my
flyers brought in,” he says. These days, with competition for business so
heated, the going rate for leads has gone up astronomically, and people are
making a living doing it. In fact, an entire industry has popped up around it.
It’s called Cost-Per-Action (CPA) or Affiliate Marketing and is the
modern day equivalent of paying a finder’s fee for new business. “Merchants like
affiliate marketing because they can send out an entire army of people to do
their marketing for them at little cost. Since it is a pay for performance
model, they only have to pay the affiliate if the lead generates the action they
want, like someone filling out an online form, or actually buying something
through the merchant site."
Raphael gets anywhere from 25 cents to $80
for each lead he helps generate, and makes thousands every month. He is known as
a guru in the marketing community, and recently decided to set up a network of
his own. CPAStar.com pre-launched in Jan. 2007, and Raphael is looking for
affiliates to market his partners' products and services through his network.

Raphael, who adds that his company is different from other affiliate marketing
networks in that it offers live support in addition to an extensive number of
high paying offers.
