Organisers try to put on a show that caters for everyone and last years show was no exception. Llamas, birds of prey, cattle, sheep and goats were on display and horse lovers were sufficiently wowed by Clydesdales, Highland and Shetland ponies, Hunters and Show Jumpers.
Vintage tractors of all shapes and sizes, steam engines and displays of ancient crafts like drystane dyke building are annual features of this event, other attractions included the bouncy castle, bucking bronco, burger stalls and that favourite at any show, candy floss.
Last year's entertainment had Pipe Bands, a music tent and Beer Tent, the highlight however was a Highland dancing competition, the young dancers delighted the crowds by performing to the skirl of the bagpipes. Last but not least Ferret Racing, this was thoroughbred racing at its best, not exactly the sport of kings but pure enjoyment for the spectators.
