Lost Contacts - Robertsons

George Robertson from Australia is attending the Edinburgh Tattoo at the end of August and is keen to trace and meet up with his Fathers distant relatives during his trip to the UK.

George’s Grandfather (George Andrew Robertson) was maried twice and had eight Children, George hopes to contact any living relatives and visit the burial places of others.

George Andrew Robertson was married to Jean Doig on May 26th 1882 and had four children
Mary Robertson born June 20th 1883, George born May 13th 1885, John born Aug 4th 1888 and Charles born Jan 15th 1991.

Following the death of Jean in November 1897, George married Madge Simes on the 31st of December 1902 at the Operative Masonic Lodge in Dundee.

George has no information about sons from this second marriage except the childrens names and a few photographs.

The Childrens names are Harry Robertson born 1905, Twins James and David born 1906 and Peter born 1908.

Any information about his relatives would be greatly appreciated.

many mistakes in our garden section

As a keen gardener without green fingers i’ve included information in many of the wrong sections, i will create a new section on bulbs and move items like daffodils, arum lillies and other bulbs from the garden flowers section.
